Fjord Tour in a minibus
NOK 1495
Meet our north Norwegian culture by seeing, tasting and meeting local people. Enjoy a relaxed morning, we start this tour at 10:00, from Kirkegata 2 in Tromsø centre. Join a safari to Tromsø’s stunning coastal landscape, full of mountains, fjords, islands and, not least, a fascinating history dating back more than 9,000 years. The safari includes visits to the mountain valley of Kattfjordeidet and the beautiful island of Sommarøy.
We welcome you on our safari by minibus to the coastal and island landscape west of Tromsø. As well as dramatic scenery, you will find traces of settlements going back thousands of years. Who were the people who came before us? Why did they come? Where did they live and how did they survive? Our dedicated and knowledgeable guide will answer these questions and many more in detail during the trip. The culture and settlement in these areas today are also very interesting with modern fish farms alongside traditional fishing boats.
This exciting safari combines nature and culture, including fish soup, so you will get the best of both worlds. We will make many stops along the way so you can touch, feel and take pleasure in the dramatic scenery, as well as fill up your memory card.
It is a tour for the entire family, and you will get the opportunity to ask questions, take pictures and stretch your legs in this amazing Arctic environment that we love so much.
